As the Hotel del Coronado transforms into a holiday wonderland, the Salvador Foundation is inviting military families to lace up their skates and enjoy a magical night on the ice.
On Monday, December 8, the Foundation has reserved the Hotel Del’s iconic seaside ice rink exclusively for active-duty & veteran members and their dependents. This special evening is a heartfelt thank-you to the military community that is such an essential part of Coronado’s story.
The event will take place from 3:00-9:00 PM on the Windsor Lawn rink, located on the west side of the historic Hotel del Coronado at 1500 Orange Avenue. Families can look forward to an evening filled with:
Skating is complimentary for the active-duty & veteran military members and dependents who present a valid military ID upon arrival (while tickets last). All ages and skill levels are welcome — whether you’re stepping onto the ice for the first time or you’re a seasoned skater, the focus of the evening is fun, connection, and appreciation.
The Salvador Foundation hosts this annual gathering to celebrate and honor the military families who sacrifice so much and contribute so deeply to life in Coronado.
